It's been a while

Well my friends it's been a long time since I have posted on here. I had tried to move my interest and discontinue what I loved the most... just publishing things that I love. I tried to start a hobby (www.stripingjoker.blogspot.com) and it just didn't work out. Right now I think what I need to do is just blog and enjoy life. It's interesting to see where life brings you, and when you try to stray from it, it just seems like a force pushes you back. I hope to continue on here and blog about what I know best: innovation, improvement, and the changes in behavior within consumers. Thanks for reading and hope to see you back.

The little book

I apologize for not writing for a while but I have had a cold the last few days and it really knocked me out. But I would like to recomend another book. Although I have not read it yet the reviews make it to be a great one. I am waiting to see if the library has the audio one, if not I am going to buy it this week. Its called “THE LITTLE BOOK THAT SAVES YOUR ASSETS: What The Rich Do to Stay Wealthy in Up and Down Markets”. Here is an excerp from the book. It is talking about your "Uncle Frank", yeah sounds weird well read the excerp and you will understand.

Do your hands sweat?

I am all about innovation and changing the way we all think. But below is an article about a new product that well lets say I don't understand. Just check it out for yourself:

CRAMERICA

Well currently I am reading(listening to) one of Cramers books. If you dont know who Jim Cramer is check out CNBC's website. There I am sure you will see his name a few times. His book is great. He spells out how he believes one should trade. Although I think you cannot take one persons way of trading and use it for yourself, I think you should take a few ways of trading and mold them to yourself. Well this is just one step towards that of me learning the stock market. Happy trading!

Inventors...who are they?

I have so many ideas for inventions its not even funny. So as my quest through the net I have discovered a place that has some really interesting stories talking about inventors and their inventions. Davinci Institute is described on their site as:

Recession Concessions

From Padre's "free drink with foreclosure notice" special in Phoenix to NYC's famed Gray's Papaya $3.50 Recession Special, these restaurants and bars are profiting from penny-pinching specials.

Josh Woodward, Chris Heyman and Chef Govind Armstrong - the three partners behind the Table 8 restaurants in Los Angeles, South Beach, Florida and an upcoming New York City location - tell customers that even in the midst of the recession, you can still "live like you did when gas was just $4 a gallon," in Woodward's words. The solution: Order off of Table 8's Recession Concession menu.
The menu - essentially a prix-fixe offering of three courses for $42 (South Beach) or $38 (Los Angeles) - bundles regular entrees, appetizers and desserts together into a combination deal.
Since its launch in March, the menu has drawn more customers to the restaurant, Woodward says. He sees it luring in customers who previously had the perception that Table 8 was too expensive for them.
The menu fairly faithfully mirrors Table 8's regular roster of dishes, in both preparation and portions. "We may not put our largest steak on it, but it's all the same dishes one could order a la carte and spend twice as much," Woodward says.

?Make money teaching how to trade stocks?

WOW, I dont know whats going on here. One minute I am thinking about putting money into the stock market and the next I am not sure if its going to be around much longer. At what point should we get in or out?
That brings me to another business idea. If you were knowledged enough in the areas of investment. I think there is a need/demand for "classes" regarding investing. You could structure the classes to the point where the first one is just talking about stocks, then move onto options, commodities, and futures. There are probly 10 classes that could consist in your program.
These classes are going to be their to make people rich or to show them how you think they should invest. Or my favorite they won't intro you into a monthly fee'd program that is a bunch of webinars that ends with your students using your trading platform.
So just a "plain jane" style of instruction. Myself and about 3 or 4 others are awaiting you to start it so we could join.

Drill More??

I was listening to radio program today and the host said "come on, we are wanting to drill something like 600 miles from the nearest tree in Alaska. Why can we not drill there?". Now the quote is obviously botched up but the point is...WHY ARE WE SPENDING MONEY ON DRILLING FOR OIL? There are so many more technologies out there that it would be more beneficial to work towards than OIL! Have we not realized that we dropped the ball about 30 years ago?

Hydrogen Fuel Cells

After requested I am posting some items regarding Hydrogen fuel cells and how you may be able to convert your vehicle, stove, gas grill, and other items to run soley on Hyrdrogen.

-Here is an article that shows how a community in Iceland that uses only fuel cell technology to run their community.

-Well if you are a Do-It yourselfer you could check this site out. It will explain to you by buying their plans how to partially convert your vehicle to hydrogen. If you are interested in this e-mail me, I know someone who has actually built one and is in the process of hooking it to their vehicle.

Charge your cell phone free...the green way!

Measuring more than 7 meters tall, the free-standing recharge pod is a self-sufficient unit that taps into a wind generator and solar panels to charge as many as 100 mobile phones per hour. It's actually the next iteration of a portable wind charger Orange tested out at last year's festival through a partnership with Gotwind, and will serve as a trial for using renewable energy sources on a larger scale at future festivals. Orange expects the recharge pod will charge thousands of mobile phones over the course of the three-day festival, furnishing power equivalent to what would be needed to power a DJ booth for Groove Armada for 88 hours. The recharge pod will be stationed within the Pennard Hill camping grounds at Glastonbury throughout the weekend of June 27–29, when the event takes place.
